What seems like just a few short years ago, the crown green bowls at Tipton were a thriving club with members playing for tournament cups to display in the club room for all the club's proud members to share. These days, our original Crown Green Bowls members are now senior members of the community who have dedicated years to keeping these activities alive and thriving. Sadly, the club became dormant for a while...

The experience, friendship, and commitment of previous club members have helped shape the Crown Green Bowls Club into a valued part of community life in Tipton.

At present, the crown green bowls at Victoria Park, Tipton, are just restarting after a few years of dormancy, likely due to COVID and related disruptions.

Our aim is to preserve this legacy while welcoming new members who share a love of being active, meeting people, and supporting community spirit. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join us and help bring the club back to the bustling, vibrant atmosphere it enjoyed in years gone by.

We are all learners (well, nearly all) at Victoria Park, Tipton. We have laughs and a good bit of jolly banter when we play. So do please come and join the fun. We'll all learn together as we go along.

Due to our facilities having no water for the Kitchen. We can't provide refreshment as you would normally expect from a club. For this reason, playing crown green bowls is free for a short time. And even after we have water again, our charges will be affordable. These costs will be announced shortly.

So come and join us on Tuesday, 1 pm -3 pm, and make the most of the free time and see if you enjoy the game.

Crown Green Bowls in Tipton is situated just down from Tipton Library, and opposite the Sacred Heart Church on Victoria Road, Tipton.
