Tipton Community Cycling.

Tipton Community Cycling is now proudly part of Tipton Activity Hub at Victoria Park, helping more people in Tipton and the surrounding areas enjoy the benefits of cycling in a friendly and supportive environment.

All confident cyclists are welcome to join us.

When and Where

We meet every Tuesday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am, come rain or shine.

Meeting Point:
By the Bowling Green at Victoria Park, just across the road from Sacred Heart Church, Tipton.

No Bike? No Problem!

You're welcome to bring your own bike and helmet, but if you don't have one, we can provide both free of charge.

Our bikes and helmets have been supplied by Sandwell Council to support local community cycling. All equipment remains the property of Tipton Activity Hub and must be returned after use.

Who Can Join?

Cycling is available to people living in Tipton and the surrounding areas. Riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

To register and borrow equipment, you'll need to bring:

  • Photo ID

  • Proof of address

There are no membership fees and no weekly subscription charges.

Group Rides

We offer led group rides guided by qualified British Cycling Ride Leaders.

Typical rides are:

  • Around 8–15 miles

  • Approximately 2 hours in duration

  • Mainly along canal towpaths and disused railway routes

  • Suitable for cyclists who are comfortable riding on these types of surfaces

Please note that rides are subject to the availability of ride leaders and sufficient participant numbers.

Stay for a Chat

After the session, participants are welcome to enjoy free tea and coffee at Tipton Library—a great opportunity to relax and get to know fellow cyclists.

Walking - Fridays 10.30 am - 11.30 am Starting 19th June. The meeting place for the walk will be inside Victoria Library in Tipton.
